We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in providing essential services to children and adults with disabilities.

">">Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • To work as a senior member of an interdisciplinary team, providing speech and language therapy services to children aged 0-18 years and their families within the region.
  • To assess, diagnose, and develop interventions for children with a range of disabilities.
  • To provide clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to meet the needs of children and families.
  • To work across various settings, including clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, children's homes, and community settings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • To be registered or eligible for registration as a Speech and Language Therapist by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • To have three years' full-time (or an aggregate of three years') post-qualification clinical experience.
  • To possess the requisite knowledge and ability to discharge the duties of the office.
  • To maintain annual registration on the Speech and Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • To confirm annual registration with CORU to us.
  • To be eligible to work in the State.
  • To hold a full clean driving license and access to own transport.
  • To have experience of interdisciplinary team working.
  • To have a minimum of two years' experience working with children with disabilities.
  • To have experience working with children with Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing difficulties.
  • To have experience working with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).
