We are seeking an experienced Technical Author Lead to oversee and provide comprehensive leadership of our technical authoring team. The successful candidate will manage the scope, specification, information, and requirements throughout the procurement process, including Public Private Partnership (PPP) public concession contracts.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the development, coordination, and consistency across PPP public concession contracts. They will lead a team of technical authors to support a standardized approach and alignment with EU Procurement Directives and Irish National Regulations and laws, across the business by maintaining oversight of all PPP public concession contract documents and enhancing engagement with subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities- Act as first point of contact for all M500 technical authoring matters related to Directorate's needs.
- Lead and develop scope documents by driving the creation of unambiguous, specific, and concise business requirement documents, ensuring they are aligned with Public Private Partnership (PPP) public concession forms and EU Procurement Directives and Irish National Regulations and laws, and eliminate the need for interpretation, thus reducing risk of disputes.
- Strategically collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate specialist requirements into contract documentation, ensuring clarity and relevance to the procurement package.
- Conduct high-level reviews and strategic challenges to align documents with commercial strategies, driving value for money (VfM), and eliminating discrepancies and inconsistencies.
