Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth operation of high-speed production lines in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives - all while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability.
- Provide technical support across production equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with schedules
- Accurately log work using our site's maintenance software system
- Support upgrades, repairs, and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain GMP and Health & Safety standards at all times
- Collaborate effectively with the wider maintenance and production teams
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Fully qualified electrician with strong mechanical aptitude
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Proven electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and pumping systems
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate with experience using maintenance reporting systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset
