Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the position of Civil Engineering Project Manager.

This dual-role position offers the opportunity to take responsibility for both the commercial and delivery aspects of diverse civil engineering projects across Northern Ireland and beyond.

  • Manage all commercial aspects of projects from tender to final account
  • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, valuations, and progress reports
  • Oversee contract administration, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Monitor budgets and costs to ensure profitability and cost control
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and site teams to ensure project objectives are met
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, along with proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor and/or Project Manager role within civil engineering.

A strong understanding of NEC and other standard forms of contract is essential, as well as excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

The candidate should be proficient in MS Office and industry-relevant software, with strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
