Job Title: Experienced Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a high-performing Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team in Athlone. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the smooth operation of our store, working closely with the Store Manager to develop their skills and knowledge.

To excel in this role, you should have at least one year's experience in a managerial position within a retail or sales environment. You must be passionate about driving team performance, promoting excellent customer service, and embracing new ideas to drive business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading sales teams to achieve targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met through effective leadership and communication
  • Liaising with the Store Manager on recruitment and performance management to ensure a high-performing team
  • Assisting in delivering Grooming Studio targets and contributing to the development of new initiatives
  • Managing stock levels, including ordering and replenishment, to maintain an efficient inventory system
  • Overseeing the care and well-being of our animals, ensuring their needs are met and providing a positive experience for customers
  • Supporting in-store events, such as Operation Transpawmation and Puppy of the Year, to create engaging experiences for customers
