Indirect Tax Advisory Role

This is a highly sought-after position in the field of indirect tax advisory, offering the opportunity to work with prominent clients across various industries.

The role involves managing a portfolio of indirect tax clients, collaborating closely with senior management, and delivering high-end VAT advisory services.

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of indirect tax clients, including Irish PLCs, major multinational corporations, semi-State organizations, and privately-owned companies.
  • Closely collaborate with Partners and senior management to deliver exceptional VAT advisory services.
  • Enhance and optimize the VAT function through the application of technology solutions.
  • Liaise with clients efficiently, offering advice, conducting research, and resolving VAT issues.
  • Conduct full commercial management for client work, ensuring seamless communication with Revenue and third parties.
  • Coach and mentor associate-level trainees, providing VAT training courses and contributing to the growth of the practice.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Irish VAT compliance and advisory assignments.
  • Desirable experience in VAT on property transactions, RCT, due diligence projects, and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong academic background with a degree in accounting, economics, finance, law, or a relevant field.
  • Part or fully qualified AITI/CTA or an equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to direct and drive multiple engagements.
  • Global relations and client engagement experience across various jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply knowledge to assist clients.
