Job Title: Financial Services Tax Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Tax Manager to join our expanding team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing solutions to complex technical issues and managing a team in demanding assignments on a day-to-day basis.

In this role, you will work closely with clients across the financial services sector to provide tax compliance and international tax advisory services. You will also be responsible for researching and understanding the evolving global tax landscape and keeping clients informed of potential impacts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team providing tax compliance and international tax advisory services;
  • Providing technical and commercial support to clients' cross-border transactions and assessing their international tax strategies;
  • Researching and understanding the evolving global tax landscape;
  • Implementing various projects simultaneously, including meeting deadlines and prioritization;
  • Contributing to the tax practice's development by proactively managing existing clients and identifying potential opportunities for additional/new client work;
  • Working closely with the financial services advisory and audit team to provide a holistic service to existing clients and identify further opportunities for growth.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification;
  • 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in a financial services tax environment;
  • Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients;
  • Asset Management and/or Insurance expertise would be an advantage;
  • Capable of working on your own initiative;
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the financial services teams across the firm;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven people development skills to support the development of junior staff;
  • Ambitious and eager to pursue a career in practice.
