This role is responsible for leading the Specialist team within the Quality Control department.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and manage a high-performing QC analyst team to provide timely, cost-effective QC support to the plant.
- Ensure product testing is scheduled and completed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to the Analyst team for investigation and closure of quality issues.
- Lead and deliver QC projects to drive process improvements.
- Define Quality Control policies in consultation with QA guidelines.
- Take responsibility for delivering the departments' functional goals, including people development and performance management.
- Evaluate and implement systems to ensure QC activities are carried out in accordance with product licence commitments, industry standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead efforts to identify and implement lean practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and service levels.
- Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Leadership and team management skills.
