Compliance Manager Role

The Quality Compliance Controller will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance systems and internal audit programmes across all services.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations, including risk management, infection control, safeguarding, and data protection.
  • Lead the organisation's readiness for regulatory reviews; support the implementation of any action plans.
  • Monitor and analyse incidents, complaints, feedback, and service delivery trends to identify risk areas and drive improvements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to provide guidance on care standards, policies, and regulatory changes.
  • Regularly review and update organisational policies and procedures to reflect best practice and current legislation.
  • Deliver or coordinate training for staff on compliance-related topics, including safeguarding vulnerable adults, GDPR, and health & safety.
  • Prepare compliance and quality reports for senior management, including KPIs, audit outcomes, and improvement plans.
  • Act as a key contact for all quality-related queries and support the investigation and resolution of complaints and safeguarding matters.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in a compliance, governance, or quality assurance role within health or social care. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HSE standards, relevant Irish legislation, and industry best practices.
