Postnatal Community Midwifery Service

We are seeking a Clinical Midwife Manager 2 to lead the development of our new postnatal community midwifery service. This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in service planning, coordination, and management within the clinical area.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, and facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.

  • Quality assurance involves monitoring and evaluating services to ensure they meet high standards.
  • Resource management entails overseeing budgets, managing equipment and supplies, and ensuring effective use of facilities.
  • Staffing and staff development focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining skilled staff.
  • Practice development involves implementing and maintaining best practices in patient care.
  • Facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership requires fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals and providing guidance and support as needed.
