Job Description: Project Ecologist

We are seeking an experienced Project Ecologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking background research, desk studies, and ecological fieldwork, as well as preparing and compiling ecological assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting ecological fieldwork and impact assessment reporting to best practice guidelines and methodologies
  2. Preparing and compiling ecological assessments and reports
  3. Liaising with client representatives and project managers to progress projects effectively
  4. Coordinating the deliverables for ecology projects
Requirements:
  • A level 8 degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Field skills in ornithology, with previous experience in conducting surveys for renewable energy projects or similar development projects
