This challenging role as a Paediatric Disability Support Specialist will give you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex disabilities.
You will be working closely with families, carers and staff to provide a high-quality speech and language therapy service.
About the Position:This position involves assessing and developing individualised care plans for children with intellectual disability, psycho-social, sensory and physical impairments.
- Developing and implementing effective therapy programmes.
- Prioritising caseloads and managing waiting lists.
We require a highly skilled Clinical Speech and Language Therapist with advanced knowledge of speech and language pathology and expertise in assessment, diagnosis and intervention.
- Degree in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy.
- Up-to-date CORU registration.
- Dysphagia training.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a SLT.
- 6-12 months' experience working as a SLT in paediatric disability.
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Full Clean Driving licence and use of a car.
