About the Role

This part-time position involves providing high-quality support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting their independence, communication, and personal development. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating, developing, and implementing individual plans, as well as ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to the diverse needs of each individual\
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives\
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to HIQA standards and best practice\
  • Promote advocacy through listening to the wishes of individuals and supporting them in accessing self-advocacy groups and independent advocacy services\\/ul>\

Requirements

\

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field is required, along with experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
