Care Manager Galway

We are seeking an exceptional Care Manager to assist in growing and managing a team of motivated, compassionate Carers. The successful candidate will oversee and assist in providing high quality care to vulnerable people.

  1. Ensure efficient management of carer on-boarding, rosters, training/development and overall carer welfare with support from the Regional Manager.
  2. Deliver 20-hour Carer Induction Training ensuring Carers are prepared and trained in advance of providing care to clients.
  3. Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, with emphasis on safeguarding and compliance. Take action as needed and escalate when required.
  4. Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding scheduling runs, client care and HSE communication.
  5. Identify, monitor and manage training needs within the team by implementing a career development path in line with the HR strategy.
  6. Conduct Client Quality Assurance reviews and record in line with Platinum Homecare and HSE Standards.
  7. Be flexible and take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care.
Requirements:
  1. QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
  2. 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
  3. Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Well organised and process driven
