We seek a detail-oriented software development engineer in test to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Protractor, and other tools. Ensure seamless integration of automation tests in CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins. Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with developers to ensure robust unit testing and integration testing practices.

Collaboration & Communication:

Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to identify potential testing requirements early. Partner with product owners, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Tool and Framework Enhancement:

Contribute to the enhancement of existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and maintainability. Recommend and implement industry best practices in test automation.

Required Skills:

  • Playwright: Hands-on experience in building and managing UI test automation frameworks
  • Jenkins: Proven ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Protractor: Solid experience in writing and executing automated test cases
  • BrowserStack: Expertise in cross-browser testing and troubleshooting

Prior Experience:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
