Social Care Leader

The primary objective of this position is to provide direct support and guidance to young people in a residential care setting. The role entails working closely with the Centre Management Team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the centre run smoothly.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with staff, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- To assist the manager in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both the young people and staff.
- To oversee the implementation of Placement Plans and ensure that young people receive the agreed quality and quantity services.
- To work collaboratively with the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager to create and maintain a positive culture within the centre.
- Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
- A minimum of 2 years' full-time relevant experience of working in social care with children/young persons.
- A valid full manual driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
