Event Management Coordinator

This position involves working as part of the Conference Partners International team, managing large and repeat client accounts with complex programs. The successful person must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The role includes proactive client account management, attending client meetings, participating in site inspections and ensuring that clients are exceptionally well serviced. Budget management and financial reporting are also critical aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactive client account management for various events and projects
- Attending client meetings and preparation of meetings; attendance via conference calls and in-person
- Participation in Client Events such as site inspections
- Engage in regular communication with clients to ensure exceptional service
- Budget management with scrupulous attention to detail, including budget reporting and post-event analysis
- Corresponding and contracting with suppliers
- Solution-driven approach to managing clients and their needs
- Assistance to the sales team with event coordination and implementation
- Funding applications and invoice processing
- Administrative tasks and duties as required
- A genuine passion for the tourism and events industry
- Highly developed organisational skills for this hands-on role
- Strong attention to detail & ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Excellent financial and budget management acumen
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of international cultures and their differences/expectations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Fantastic relationship builder – both internally and externally
- A third-level qualification is required
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages would be an advantage (most specifically German)
