AI/ML Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned AI/ML Engineer to join our Global Engineering team. This role involves contributing to the development and deployment of Red Hat's rapidly growing AI/ML products, focusing on open-source systems and functionality.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in delivering enterprise-level AI/ML solutions and be proficient in working with data ingestion and processing tools, such as Docling, Spark, Pandas, and Feast.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis.
  • Designing and training ML models using established frameworks and architectures.
  • Assisting with building and integrating model serving solutions.
  • Partnering with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product Management to identify and incorporate customer needs and goals.

Key qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with data ingestion or processing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledgeable in various synthetic data generation approaches, such as GANs, VAEs, or rule-based systems.
  • Experience writing unit tests for ML models and associated components.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containers.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodology, Scrum, and/or Jira.

About this role:

This is a hybrid position that reports directly to the Manager of Software Engineering. The successful candidate will have the ability to partner collaboratively in our Waterford, Ireland office at least 3 days per week.
