Cloud Solution Architect

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and architectures. This includes experience in implementing cloud solutions across different environments.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems and services for our clients. Your goal will be to ensure that these systems meet business objectives and adhere to best practices.

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, across various cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, VMware)
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints, providing strategic cloud adoption and migration advice
  • Develop and document cloud architecture frameworks and best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and design tailored cloud migration strategies
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and other team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Help pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in cloud technologies
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
