We are seeking an experienced Safety & Environmental Specialist to join our EHS team. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with local legislation and standards.
- Risk assessments, contractor management, incident investigation, emergency response, chemical management, waste management, water and air management, ergonomics, bio risk, equipment and machine safety, industrial hygiene, and high-risk work.
Requirements:
- Technical Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or Science/Engineering.
- Post-grad EHS qualification would be advantageous.
- 3+ years' experience in Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven track record of success in environmental health and safety.
- Strong understanding of various EHS topics.
- Innovative and compliance-minded.
- Team player capable of working within a multi-functional team environment.
