Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Rigid Truck Driver to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring the operation of a rear end loader truck on route collection of waste and mixed dry recyclables from commercial customers in Galway City & County.

The ideal candidate will have a Category C Driving Licence, CPC Certification, and proficiency in written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear end loader truck on designated routes, collecting and returning customers' bins professionally and timely.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before departure and comply with Health and Safety policies and road traffic legislation.
  • Establish good relationships with customers and coworkers, resolving issues/queries effectively and escalating when necessary.
Licence and Certification Requirements
  • Category C Driving Licence (required)
  • CPC Certification (required)
  • Safe Pass (preferred)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
