Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Manager to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Irish and UK VAT compliance and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective VAT reporting systems, processes, and controls.
  • Provide expert VAT advice on complex areas and projects.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of VAT, RCT, Intrastats, and indirect tax returns.
  • Review and develop VAT compliance processes within local and international laws and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build robust data management and control systems for VAT, RCT, and Intrastats reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to various teams on indirect tax implications of business transactions involving multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements:
  • ACA or CTA qualification with membership of relevant institutes.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and UK VAT legislation, including some experience with RCT.
  • Detailed understanding of indirect tax case laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical tax content clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and possess strong leadership and teamwork skills.
