Job Title: Experienced Analytical Development Scientist

We are seeking a talented and passionate analytical development scientist to join our team in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work alongside outstanding R&D scientists in a well-established pharma company. As an analytical development scientist, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods across a range of techniques. You will also manage technical projects and ensure all associated data is processed and findings are reported on.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize analytical methods using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, IC, spectroscopic methods (IR, LC-MS, ICP-OES, Atomic Absorption)
• Validate and transfer analytical methods according to regulatory guidelines
• Troubleshoot analytical issues obtained during method development
• Manage technical projects and ensure all associated data is processed and findings are reported on

Requirements:

You will need a BSc. in an analytical, chemical or related scientific field with 5 years minimum experience of working in a GMP facility. You will also need industry experience in method validation and experience of the analysis of APIs, raw materials and excipients. Knowledge of GMP regulations and industry standards is essential.
