Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team on a contract basis for 11 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an award-winning Biopharmaceutical organisation.

The Role:

  • Act as Processing Equipment SME and provide engineering support to the Vaccine IPTs.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and document process equipment issues that may arise on shift.
  • Own all Quality and Safety investigations handed over from the shift and resulting CAPAs relating to process equipment.
  • Identify and assist in implementing equipment process improvements and optimization opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in GMP operations, including process engineering.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Third-level degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Project management experience.
  • Process Equipment expertise.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Process optimisation: continually evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise costs.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: identify and resolve issues in manufacturing processes.
  • Process documentation: create and maintain maintenance plans on SAP, engineering standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
  • Continuous improvement: actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Quality control: work closely with quality teams to ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulations.
  • Project management: lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, new product introduction, cost reduction, or capacity expansion.
  • EHS: work closely with EHS teams to ensure EHS compliance.
