Job Summary:

The Theatre Nurse role at a reputable healthcare institution requires exceptional nursing skills and knowledge to ensure patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have

  1. a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care;
  2. minimum 1 year post-graduate acute care nursing experience; and
  3. previous theatre experience is desirable, although training will be provided for interested candidates.

The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills, as well as strong organisational and interpersonal abilities. We are looking for an individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks accordingly.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Able to maintain accurate records and reports;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and skills;
  • Previous theatre experience is desirable but not essential.
