Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented developer to join our team as a Front-End Software Engineer. This role involves working on cloud-based streaming telemetry services and applications, including the Cloud Vision Portal, a web-based front-end that provides a network-wide perspective of real-time telemetry streamed from network switches.

The ideal candidate will have experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, build and CI tools such as webpack and npm, and the ability to convert wireframes into high-quality components. They will also participate in designing and implementing high-quality, performant, and reliable software, with full ownership of projects in a flat, engineering-led environment that emphasizes automation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing user interfaces based on streaming telemetry for networking devices
  • Implementing visualization, event correlation, anomaly detection, and device configuration using NodeJS, React, Redux, ES6, Webpack, Storybook, TypeScript, and Less
  • Participating in designing and implementing high-quality, performant, and reliable software
  • Owning projects in a flat, engineering-led environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of development experience with JavaScript, including frameworks like React or Angular
  • Experience with build and CI tools such as webpack and npm
  • Ability to convert wireframes into high-quality components
