The Role of Project Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to project managers and other relevant personnel on the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental systems and standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Promote safe working practices and ensure the implementation of company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site health, safety, and environmental inspections and report back findings to relevant personnel.
- Ensure that projects have been provided with relevant health, safety, and environmental documentation.
- Review and ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist site managers and subcontractors with risk assessments and evaluations.
- Deliver training and workshops on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced professional who possesses a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management. Your qualifications should include:
- A Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety.
- A minimum of 3 years' postgraduate experience in Project Health, Safety Management.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards.
- Working towards graduate membership of IOSH.
- Ability to deliver internal health, safety, and environmental courses.
