Job Title: Digital Archivist - Fixed Term Contract

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Archivist to join our team on a fixed term contract basis. As a Digital Archivist, you will be responsible for the acquisition, management and preservation of digital collections.

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of digital preservation principles, metadata standards and asset management systems.

A relevant postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Studies, Archives Administration or a related field is essential.

You should also have experience working with digital collections, preferably in an academic library setting.

Additionally, you should be proficient in MS Office and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
