About The Role

This is a senior position responsible for leading the design, construction, and management of structural steel and building works projects.

  • Project Management Expertise: Ensure project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications are met through effective planning and coordination.
  • Civil and Structural Site Supervision: Oversee daily activities on site, including subcontractor supervision, progress monitoring, and quality control.
  • Structural Steel and Building Works: Lead the safe and efficient erection of structural steel and installation of cladding systems.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and enforce quality procedures, conducting inspections and addressing non-conformities.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Commissioning and Handover: Oversee completion, testing, and final inspections of structural and building elements.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve technical and site issues.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years post-graduate experience in structural steel, cladding, and building works.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven track record in managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral communication and written reporting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Full clean driving license.
