Role OverviewThe Fleet Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire transport fleet operation, ensuring that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. The role involves administration, reporting, and data analysis to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the transport fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Administer and report on fleet-related activities, including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including vehicle inspection reports, driver certifications, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Accredited Certificate of Professional Competence certified by the Department of Transport.
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Legislation and regulations.
- Strong administrative experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to produce accurate and timely reports, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
