Job Title: Technical Services Chemist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Chemist to provide technical support services to both internal and external customers.
  • The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for providing an efficient technical support service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to internal colleagues and customers, including attending operations meetings daily to troubleshoot current issues and propose efficiencies and improvements.
  2. Design and deliver customer training and seminars.
  3. Provide internal calibration services.
  4. Contribute to the maintenance of current accreditations (equipment and procedures), and the development of scope as required.
  5. Develop new products and services to customers.
  6. Analytical method development and validation.
  7. Investigate customer complaints as required.
  8. Make high-level technical contributions at daily operations meetings.
  9. Engage in the development of the new Metrology Centre.
  10. Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Quality Manager or member of the Senior Leadership team.
