Job Description

As a Learning and Development Manager, you will support the Operations team in identifying and fulfilling training needs. The focus will be on compliance, continuous improvement, and operational effectiveness.

  • Lead the development and delivery of tailored training materials and learning plans for each role and area across Operations.
  • Build training capability through coaching, train-the-trainer programs, and best practice sharing.
  • Monitor, track, and maintain training records to meet audit, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Provide training support for business-critical projects, including process improvements, onboarding, and site initiatives.
  • E nsure training activity is fully compliant with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify current and future learning needs and ensure training supports operational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience working in food manufacturing or a similarly regulated production environment is essential. A deep understanding of compliance with food safety, quality, and operational training standards is also required.

  • Experience as a proactive learning and development professional with a passion for compliance, training delivery, and unlocking the potential of others.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple training priorities at once.
