
Chief Financial Governance Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's credit function, making credit line decisions, and acting as direct line manager for the credit team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong understanding of debt ledgers and negotiation skills. They will also have excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to produce and analyse complex financial reports.
As a key member of our team, the Credit Manager will work closely with various departments, including sales and pricing teams, to ensure that customer accounts are maintained to the highest standard. They will also be responsible for identifying key issues and implementing solutions to improve performance.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading and managing the credit team
- Ensuring adequate training and coaching is available
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Handling customer queries and escalations
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
Requirements for the role include:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in credit management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Demonstrated understanding of debt ledgers and negotiation skills
- Relevant qualification an advantage
