Actuarial Assistant Role

We are seeking an Actuarial Assistant to join our team and support the production of financial and regulatory reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for analyzing reserves of various business lines and geographies, developing and maintaining data quality and documentation of processes across actuarial work, and collaborating with other functions to enhance reporting output.

The successful candidate will have actively pursued the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries actuarial qualification, hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject with a minimum grade of 2:1, and have proficiency in at least one programming language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of financial and regulatory reports;
  • Assist in the analysis of reserves of various business lines and geographies;
  • Develop and maintain data quality and documentation of processes across actuarial work;
  • Collaborate with Claims, Pricing, Underwriting, Operations, and Finance functions to enhance Actuarial Reporting output;
  • Continually improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of existing processes;

Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries actuarial qualification;
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject with a minimum grade of 2:1;
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language is desirable;
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Solid oral and written communication skills in English;
