About This Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part 21 Design Engineer to join our team at CAE Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of EASA Part 21J Design documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
Liaising with Compliance Verification Engineers is also an essential part of this role, as well as managing projects of design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile design documentation including accomplishment instructions, engineering drawings, compliance reports, and instructions for continued airworthiness.
- Ensure that engineering documents comply with all applicable EASA airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Part 21 Design.
- Demonstrate knowledge of applicable EASA aviation regulation and requirements.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively act to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop and guide processes through to successful delivery.
Education/Experience Required:
A technical degree (B.Eng, B.Sc) or EASA Part 66 qualification/Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence or equivalent is required for this position.
