Talentedge is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our team in Naas, Kildare. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, preferably in a field related to finance or accounting, and experience working in a similar role, ideally within the construction or related sector. They will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Manage and maintain the financial aspects of our projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Commercial Support: Provide commercial support to the business, including supporting the preparation and approval of payment applications, liaising with procurement and commercial teams, and matching supplier invoices to relevant purchase orders.
  • Sub-contractor Administration: Oversee sub-contractor onboarding, ensuring all required documentation is complete before works commence. Ensure sub-contracts are accurately registered on internal systems and recorded in the accounting platform.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Coordinate with the commercial and accounts payable teams on sub-contractor cash flow forecasting and payments.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Minimum 4 years PQE
  • Experience within a finance or commercial team in the construction or related sector
  • Strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent)
