We are currently recruiting for a civil engineer to work across the Republic of Ireland on road maintenance and asphalt projects.

Some projects are based in Dublin and Meath, but you will need to visit all other sites across the region as required. Accommodation will be provided when necessary.

The client is keen to develop the right candidate through their career, so we are looking for someone who is eager to progress.

Civil Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Setting out the site in accordance with site drawings and specifications
  • Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
  • Accurately recording site progress in the diary
  • Providing technical and structural expertise
  • Complying with strict safety regulations
  • Conducting toolbox talks
  • Assisting in managing traffic on site
  • Reporting to the project manager

Civil Engineer Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's relevant experience
  • Experience in setting out
  • Ambition to progress
  • Civil engineering degree
  • Highly organized and motivated individual
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Full driving license
