**About the Role**

Puppy fosterers play a vital role in the early socialisation and training of future Assistance Dogs.

We are seeking caring individuals to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our puppies, aged 8 weeks to 15 months old, as they prepare to become well-rounded dogs that can transform the life of a child with autism.

The ideal candidate will be able to dedicate time to the puppy's training and care, including house training and managing puppy behaviors such as chewing and barking.

**Responsibilities**

  • Care for a puppy in your own home
  • Dedicate time to the puppy's training and care
  • Manage house training and puppy behaviors

**Requirements**

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have a safe, enclosed garden (assessment may be needed)
  • Access to transport for socialisation and training
  • Good communication skills
