Job Posting

We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional interior landscaping services and ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Visit scheduled accounts regularly, paying special attention to high maintenance and large accounts.
  2. Ensure expected Universal Floral quality standard is achieved, providing effective maintenance while minimising plant replacements.
  3. Keep timely and accurate client records logging all plant maintenance activity including plant feeding and inventory.
  4. Water all plants to appropriate level.
  5. Ensure plants are clean and free of dust.
  6. Remove discoloured leaves and prune.
  7. Notify management of damaged pots and plants.
  8. Keep all current client inventories up to date.
  9. Keep vehicles, tools and machinery in good repair and working order.
  10. Remove all waste and debris from the planters and site.
  11. Check and treat all pest issues in compliance with company policies.
  12. Communicate with management if there is an access issue with the account.
  13. Provide assistance as required in other areas of the company.
  14. Report client requests to management.
  15. Ensure replacement plant stock is on hand as required and necessary equipment is booked in advance.
  16. Participate in interior and exterior planting projects as business needs require.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  1. Implement the procedures set out in the Health & Safety policy.
  2. Monitor H&S practices and documenting checks as required by the policy.
  3. Report problems which could affect Health & Safety to their Manager.
  4. Prevent the use of defective equipment posing a safety risk.
  5. Resolve problems relating to structure, maintenance and equipment.
  6. Actively manage any specific hazards that exist during their service.
  7. Maintain records in relation to accidents, training and H&S checks.
  8. Attend all training organised by their manager and required to perform their duties.

Requirements:

  • Horticultural qualification or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Full clean EU driving licence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
