Senior Visual Effects Artist

Larian Studios is seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Effects Artist to join their team and contribute to the creation of high-quality role-playing games.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in crafting visual effects that bring magic and wonder to the gaming world. They will be responsible for creating visually stunning effects that enhance the player's experience and immerse them in the game's fantastical world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex visual effects using particle systems, models, and custom shaders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop game features and ensure seamless integration of VFX into the game.
  • Develop and maintain a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in real-time VFX.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in VFX technology.

Requirements:

  • At least one shipped game on PC/Console, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in real-time VFX.
  • Advanced knowledge of DCC packages such as Maya, Blender, or Houdini.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
