Lighting Design Engineer Opportunity

The role involves collaborating with the design team to develop lighting solutions that integrate seamlessly into architectural and interior design concepts. A key aspect is preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, DIALux, and Relux.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assess project requirements and propose lighting solutions in line with regulations, standards, and client needs. They will also support the selection, specification, and integration of LED technologies and lighting control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop integrated lighting solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for lighting designs.
  • Assess project requirements and propose suitable lighting solutions.
  • Support the selection, specification, and integration of LED technologies and lighting control systems.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Sustainability, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in lighting design, building services, or a related engineering discipline advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in DIALux, Relux, AutoCAD, and lighting control systems.
  • Knowledge of LED lighting technologies and relevant lighting regulations/standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times.
