Pharmacist Education Specialist

This role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for pharmacy students. The specialist will develop and implement experiential learning programs, including clinical placements and simulation-based training.

  • Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours a week)

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to design and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of pharmacy students. This includes developing curriculum content, coordinating clinical placements, and evaluating student performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement experiential learning programs for pharmacy students
  • Design and deliver curriculum content that meets industry standards
  • Coordinate clinical placements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of teaching excellence within the university's teaching and learning communities
Requirements
  • PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience
  • General Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy
  • Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • Passion for educational excellence and commitment to ongoing professional development
