Job Opportunity: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled logistics professional to take on a challenging role as Transport Operations Coordinator. This multifaceted position involves overseeing daily transport operations, coordinating with drivers, and supporting warehouse functions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple client needs, and have a strong understanding of export documentation and customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily transport operations by scheduling routes, rerouting drivers, and resolving delivery issues.
  • Function as the point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and timely deliveries.
  • Consult with drivers via phone, email, and internal systems to manage logistics effectively.
  • Support warehouse operations by picking and packing orders for dispatch.
  • Operate the counterbalance forklift to unload and manage incoming parcels.
  • Occasionally collect or deliver parcels within the region using company vehicles.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including maintaining records and supporting operational reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in airfreight exports or a related logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of export documentation, airfreight processes, and customs regulations highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to support both transport and warehouse functions as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple client needs.
  • Full EU B Drivers License.
  • Proficiency in logistics software specifically Azyra and Microsoft Office.
  • Counterbalance forklift certificate essential.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and GDP (Goods Distribution Practice) highly desirable.
