Job Role:

This role is pivotal in Contracting Partners Group (CPG), supporting the management of national framework contracts and providing a blend of regulation and standards development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and/or develop processes and procedures to ensure effective operation.
  • Implement robust governance through Contractor Management Systems.
  • Champion continuous improvement in contract processes and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and compliance.
  • Manage all aspects of risk associated with managing Framework Contractors.
  • Work according to agreed guidelines, policies, and procedures and influence where required.
  • Provide expert advice and support through the use of in-depth knowledge and experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years' relevant experience.
  • Experience of Contract Management.
  • Experience of producing high-quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience in Risk Assessment and Risk Management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge and Experience.
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules.
  • Knowledge of Network Assets and Standards.
  • Experience of Environmental Management.
  • Knowledge of design and construction policies and standards.
  • Experience and Knowledge of IT systems associated with the role.
