HGV Class 1 Driver role based in Dublin. The company has over 50 years' experience transporting between Great Britain and Ireland and operates across the UK and Ireland with a large, diverse trailer fleet.

Job Overview

Job Title: HGV Driver

Location: Dublin

Shift patterns: Various shifts available, including night shifts and tramper options

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport a wide variety of items to customers and follow designated routes
  • Communicate location and estimated arrival time
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Drive safely, efficiently and responsibly in Company vehicles
  • Perform daily vehicle and trailer checks and complete relevant documentation
  • Keep vehicles clean inside and out
  • Report defects to the traffic office and obtain a defect number
  • Comply with Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and site policies
Requirements
  • HGV Class C&E (Class 1) licence
  • Digital tachograph card and Driver CPC qualification card
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience
  • Good standard of driving; clean licence preferable but up to 6 points acceptable
  • Right to Work; knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
