**Job Opportunity:**

Lead MEICA Engineer Position Open

The successful candidate will lead the team to support the delivery of projects and programmes of work.

  • Leading design review meetings taking into account client specifications, contractual obligations and any other client requirements.
  • Mentoring and developing staff from graduate level through to senior design engineers.
  • Solving problems and developing design solutions, playing a central role in designing necessary mechanical equipment for power and process control.
  • Producing design deliverables, such as specifications, drawings, data sheets, and schedules, in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensuring design risk assessments and design solutions consider innovation/value engineering for best value, as well as safety, cost, and time constraints.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. A post graduate Level 9 Masters would be advantageous.
  • Be a Chartered Engineer with a professional body such as Engineers Ireland.
  • Have a minimum of 20 years relevant experience in the design/delivery of MEICA design services ideally in the water, gas and power industry.

Key Responsibilities:
