Job Description:

The Accommodation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's accommodation department. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards are maintained in bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as coordinating the cleaning of public areas within the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be available to work flexible hours including early starts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the accommodation department
  2. Co-ordinate housekeeping team to maintain high standards in bedrooms and bathrooms
  3. Coordinate cleaning of public areas within the hotel
  4. Collaborate with Front Office Manager and Reception Team to ensure guest expectations are met
  5. Provide excellent customer care at all times
  6. Staff training and development
  7. Stock/supply ordering
  8. Attend hotel meetings and complete action plans
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Accommodation Manager/Supervisor
  • HACCP training desirable but not essential
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly
  • Able to multi-task and help out where required
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team player who can work on own initiative
  • Availability for early starts, weekends, and public holidays
