Job Title: Senior Product Development Engineer
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple complex customer testing projects simultaneously, leading device and packaging testing projects for medical device and pharma customers, and interfacing with Customers and sales teams to assess feasibility and costings of new projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple complex customer testing projects simultaneously
- Lead device and packaging testing projects for medical device and pharma customers
- Interface with Customers and sales teams to assess feasibility and costings of new projects
- Develop and agree project plans, test protocols, and test methods with Customers
- Coordinate staff and schedules equipment resources to execute testing and reporting of results
- Design and document test jigs and fixtures
- Work with the validation team to conduct Test Method Validation studies
- Assess equipment specifications and suitability for test method
- Develop URS for laboratory equipment procurement
- Support Quality team with investigations, procedure updates, and audits
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience working in highly regulated environment
- Proven project management track record
- CAD and Minitab software experience an advantage
A background in medical device verification and validation or regulatory submission projects would be beneficial.
