Site Management Role

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operational management of material processing, recovery, and final disposal. This involves implementing strategies to ensure a safe working environment for all operational personnel.

Key responsibilities include health, safety & wellbeing of all operational personnel, health & safety compliance for 3rd party visitors to site, and ensuring compliance with Environment Agency site permit and applicable legislation.

  • Develop and implement operational plans to maximize plant availability and material throughputs while maintaining compliance with output specifications.
  • Manage associated costs effectively and ensure sufficient labour is available to complete all operational shifts safely and compliantly.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of operational personnel and provide coaching and training to enhance their skills and competencies.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in a supervisory or site management role, preferably in waste management, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reporting and scheduling tools.
