**Job Summary:**

This role involves providing educational psychological services to assigned schools, including casework, support and development, and critical incident response. As a member of the National Educational Psychological Service (NEPS), you will work collaboratively with other educational services in local teams and regions to build capacity and improve outcomes for students.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational psychological services to assigned schools.
  • Support national and regional initiatives to build capacity in assigned schools and beyond.
  • Collaborate with other educational services in local teams and regions.
  • Participate in regular supervision and contribute to NEPS service development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A post-graduate professional qualification in educational psychology, clinical or counselling psychology, accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland or equivalent body.
  • At least two years continuous supervised post-graduate professional experience working with children and young people in education or community settings.
  • A recognised qualification at minimum Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent in Psychology.
